Our squad has been traveling alot lately. First it was Frisco and now it’s down south to San Diego for the AGENDA & ASR Tradeshow weekend that happened about a week ago. For anyone who’s not familiar with the AGENDA & ASR Tradeshows, it’s basically a 4 day weekend where all of your favorite streetwear, skateboarding, surf (actions sports) companies gather together to network and showcase what they have in store for the upcoming season separated into 2 shows. In addition to this, it is also a time for everyone to get drunk, party, do drugs and act stupid. (Sounds like your kind of thing? Naaaahhh…) You can think of it as a mini business trip with alot of partying, especially with the white girl “YOLANDA“.
Our first stop was at the AGENDA Tradeshow party at the House Of Blues (San Diego) which was co-sponsored by Crooks & Castles, HELLZ BELLZ, and ATTIC. Thanks to the head honcho Aaron over at AGENDA for the free tickets ($15 value per head) to the venue.

By the end of the night some of us got pretty twisted off Jack & Cokes and even some of us were dancing on stage with the DJ, but we won’t mention who. As the night progressed we decided to call it a night slightly early to get some rest and have an early start at AGENDA the next morning.
San Francisco was definitely a fun city to visit and skate. Especially if you got to see some of your friends that you haven’t seen for years. We definitely want to come back again real soon. Thanks to everyone that we met while we were out there, Timmy Jak for showing us around town, Anna Maria for the drunken philosophical talks about the universe, Tal for “Dance Attacking”, all the SF heads that we met along the way that knew who we were, and especially George & Jenny for letting us stay at their crib! Goodtimes. Before we head back home to LA, Gabriel wanted to wish everyone a “Good Morning” after partying too hard at the Minna Gallery. “Do it. Stick your finger in. Stick your finger in your throat…” “It’s all like fucken dried water dude.” Did that even make sense?
For our last night in Frisco we heard about an artshow that was going down called Creative Control at the Minna Gallery. It was an artshow/skateboard premiere that featured some well known artists such as Alex Pardee, Mike Giant & MEARONE just to name a few. After picking up my good friend Anna, we arrived at the spot and couldn’t find any hookups to get in for free, so we each had to pay a $10 entrance fee just to find out that the beers were excessively expensive ranging from $8-$12. Go figure. But guess what? Not sure if it was the atmosphere or the hyphyness that was around this spot, but it was well worth it. We had one hell of a time or is it “hella” time? Even yours truly got down on pounding Two 22oz New Castles! Can we say Tomato Face?

A couple hours into the night and a bunch of expensive brews later equates to alot of random acts of entertainment. The video clip down below shows how drunk our boy Gabriel is or was. This is his version of the “Thizz Dance”. From the :41-:57 second mark our homegirl Tal created this thing called a “Dance Attack” that consisted of dancing behind people without them knowing. Dance Attacking kept all of us preoccupied for a good minute throughout the night! Hahaha good one Tal!
Come to think of it, after writing this blog entry, we realized that we didn’t even check out any of the artwork that was on display that night?! Hahahah, what the fuck… Till next time, we’re going back down souf.
After skating the Berkeley Skatepark we stopped by our homegirl Chach’s pad and basically ate up all of her food. To Chach: Next time don’t ever invite 5 hungry skaters into your crib for dinner girl! Hungry Skaters = No Food in the Fridge! Thanks for the grub once again. Much love.
