After we dropped off some products over at The Grandeur, it was time to go skate.  We had the rest of the day to ourselves and had a couple of hours to spare before driving back to LA so we decided to roam around the Oceanside area to a skatepark called the “Melba Bishop Skatepark”.  This park is pretty well built with alot of street oriented obstacles that would have any skater plotting out his combo-lines throughout the park.  They even have a bump over cement trashcan on one end of the park.  Did I also mention that they probably have one of the best pyramids that I’ve ever skated?  Oh yeah, I just did.

Remember when we told you about our “Brocam”?  (Yah you do.)  Well it looks like we stepped it up to a Brocam with HD aka High Definition!  This is probably one of the illest inventions made so far.  A compact and easily accessible pocket camera (the size of an ipod) that can produce HD quality film.  This camera is also known as the FLIP MinoHD and is backed up by the heads from Santa Cruz.

Our BrocamHD wouldn’t be shit if we didn’t ghetto-rig that thing with a custom fisheye lens accompanied by bright green duct tape.

Just right around the corner from the skatepark is a ditch that has smooth transitions that go up to a topside where you can do blunts, tailslides, etc.  (You can’t miss it while driving into the parking lot towards your left.  If you do then you need to put that blunt down and open up your eyes.)  The shit that I’ve seen go down on this was pretty fucken nuts.  Like Jimmy Cao’s Bluntslide to Frontside 180 out the hard way was pretty ill.  Just check out the  4:08-4:13 mark over HERE in his “WTF Is A Bachinsky?” videopart.  It looked alot easier on the video than in real life.
