Located just about 1.5 hours away from Los Angeles is a city called Santa Barbara. Over Thanksgiving Break we were able to go visit some of the homeys and skate the schools around the area. The first school that we hit was a spot called Peabody Charter Elementary. Peabody Elementary has these above knee high, blue, metal benches scattered throughout the playground. The benches have this weird plastic coating applied to them making them easily slideable, but hardly grindable.

Blue Benches
The most notable spot to skate here is a 25 foot bench over a dirtgap that is made out of composite plastic. The ledge is superslick to slide, but (there’s always a “but”) has these annoying little rivets every 8-9 inches making your trick attempt sound like you’re farting throughout the whole slide. You might have seen Jeremy’s Backside Nosegrizzle on this thing a couple of days ago.

Located inside the pavilion of the school is a “2Down/2Up Stair Gap” that you can clear. It’s roughly about 6-7 feet wide with little to no runway.

They also have a mini, waxed-up ledge that’s fun to dork around on.

Our apologies for the lack of updates on a timely basis for the past couple of days. It might be due to the lack of blood circulation to the brain from eating too much turkey. Whatever it is we are just happy to see that our boy Vinnie Lopez back on the stuntwood again. After a 2 year hi-atus from skateboarding this young buck has finally gotten his mind right and stepped foot onto that “useless wooden toy” we call a skateboard and is smashing on a regular basis. Look out for more coverage of him in the future. I might want to add that this hefty kickflip below was 3rd try over Thanksgiving Weekend…

We definitely appreciate all of the support that everyone has been giving us throughout the past year and a half; ever since we took our crew into new heights by turning it into a brand. Without you there wouldn’t be us, so a big “Thank You” on this Thanksgiving Day.
We get alot of emails/questions about what’s going on with some of our newer products? Are we going to be releasing some new t-shirts, boards, caps, etc.? The answer is, “Yes we are still releasing some new t-shirts“, and “Yes, the David Flore x SAC board collabo will drop by early 2010″ and “Yes, we just we just restocked on our Skulls And Crossboards Fitted Caps”.
Stay tuned for more in the near future as there is another fitted baseball cap in the works. You can grab the newly restocked fitteds for $30 SHIPPED through our Online Shop. Thanks.

Skate All Cities Krew member Jeremy Cannon was lucky enough to skate one of the most prestige and sought after skateparks in the world aka The Berrics. A personal training facility created by skateboarding professionals Steve Berra and Eric Koston. While Jeremy skating the newly built and restructured skatepark last week, I was at home watching it all go down on his Facebook Mobile profile. FML. At least you can’t say that at least one of us haven’t skated The Berrics. You can add that on the “ABD-List”. Thanks again for the invite Jeremy! You jerk…
