The Steel Wheels Show – Atlanta, GA
September 29, 2008 | Filed Under Events, Graffiti | 2 CommentsThe Steel Wheels Show (aka Rails & Relics 2) will be showcased in Atlanta, Georgia this year at the Relapse Theatre on Saturday, October 4th. The Skate All Cities unit has been lucky enough to be one of the featured artists in the show as well as one of the many co-sponsors of the event. As I mentioned earlier during the week, HUCK and I have been hard at work painting our toy freights. We are pretty happy with the final results. We will have some HAELER boards as well as our new t-shirt drops available at the show. If you’re in or around the Atlanta, Georgia area that day make sure to stop by and check it out. There is an incredible line-up of freight artists that will be attending. Everyone from the West Coast to the East Coast will be putting it down. Unfortunately for us we won’t be attending the event as we are in the process of filming for our video during those dates. (Note: Click on the images to enlarge for a better view of the line-up of artists.)

All I can say is WOW..I’m still absorbing it all. The show was incredible, and anyone that missed it, should be kicking themselves in their own ass. You could see before the doors even opened, all the hard work and dedication SB, Mendez, and Rail Relics put into this show. It was nice to finally meet people I’ve been talking with, and trading pics with for years. I feel truly blessed to have been invited, and given the chance to participate in such an excellent event. IZ THE WIZ, what!!!!!! The man the myth the true king. It was most uplifting to see him killing black books, still at it, Kings never die! I strongly suggest that if this show takes place again next year, GO, sell whatever you have to sell to go, walk, fly, drive, or swim, you wont wanna miss it, because I can only imagine that it will be even bigger and better, hell, I don’t even know if thats possible. Mad props, and respect to my ATL boys. piece everyone.

I heard that it was pretty tight from my boy DUER. He should have some flicks soon so that we can have a recap blog entry of the event. Goodshit.
