Miniramp Jam

First off (out of respect for the person who built this miniramp) I’m not going to post up directions to this spot.  Anyone that knows me personally (or has my number) will have access to this joint.  Otherwise, “Wamp-Wamp”.

I guess the story behind this miniramp is that some kids decided to build a miniramp right in their backyard…literally.  Just about 200 feet away from a main street you walk down a steep, dirt path to a 3 foot miniramp secluded in an area covered with an enormous amount of green trees.  It’s not worth driving the 2 hours away from LA to skate this (Hint #1) or anything like that so I wouldn’t bother.  The flat bottom takes a little getting use to because it’s longer than usual, but overall it’s still fun to dork around and warm-up on if you’re ever around the area.

Find Me

You might remember Meetch (down below) when he first appeared on our blog while we were skating over at the SAC Training Facility.  Here he is again, lurking.

Meetch Greene

Mike Abarta (down below) is a fucken G.  I’m sure that anyone else that has skated with this guy can quote me on that.  In between going to school and shooting photos at Brooks he is a skate machine.  Buttery smooth style mixed in with speed is the best definition I can give for him.  For instance, I seen him do a Kickflip Backside Noseblunt to Pop-In on a quarterpipe recently.  W-O-W…
