After filming for a COTW (Clip Of The Week) this past weekend, (out of the blue while we were filming) Zach called us up to go hit up Fillmore Skatepark. Since we had nothing else to do around town and were slightly bored of skating the same old shit, we decided to go along for the ride.

Summers Always Cookin’
This park is pretty legit. It has everything and anything for any type of skater ranging from street to bowls. Right as you walk into the front entrance of the park you see a weird combination of ledges stacked together that have weird angles to them. At first you would think that you can pull some Rodney vs Daewon shit on this but when you get around to skating it, it’s pretty hard to hit.

Stacked Ledges

The bowl is gnarly. If you’re into grinding fresh pool coping and sliding on your leopard printed Rectors when you bail then you’re good to go.

Bowl
Right along the skatepark there are a shitload of variations of ledges that you can skate on, including gaps that are spread throughout the park.

Right in the center of the park is the main course. Bowls, ledges, and bumps combined into one.

They even have a 2ft kiddie’s bowl for the beginners.

After about 30 minutes of cruising around the skatepark and lurking in the burning heat, we finally got our lazy asses to walk about 100 ft back to the car to grab the camera to get some footy.

A Different Perspective

You can’t tell from the photo below but this gap is pretty beefy. On top of that you have to ollie up a little curb to ollie again over the gap. Steve put it down in less than 3 tries.
