The Holy Grail
August 29, 2009 | Filed Under Skateboarding, SpotCheck | No CommentsAfter spending countless of hours trying to find this spot yesterday, we had finally found the mother of all skatespots and were ready to drop some hammers. Let me introduce to you “The Holy Grail”. This time around we brought our boy Justin from Boston to enjoy our fruits of labor. All I have to say is this is going to be the next early 90′s Lockwood High School. (Quote me on that.) In order to keep this school from blowing up (like your first toy doll) and due to its virginity status we’re going to have to keep the address & directions to an absolute not available for this Spotcheck.

Steve Cuellar – Noseblunt
There’s no easy way getting into the school except for climbing this 10 ft fence. (Just watch out for the spikes.) Dr. Oct proves that he is not only capable of doing Pop Shove-It Noseslides during his freetime while studying to be “who-knows-what”, but he can also flex those biceps. NO HOMO.

Pullup Game
Inside the school you will see a shitload of ledges. I repeat, “A shitload of ledges“. There are endless variations and combinations that go with them too. First up is probably the most popular set of ledges. Below knee high planters that go back to back from each other. Even though there are grind marks on all of them you usually skate the 2nd and 4th one for a line.

2nd & 4th
As if those planter ledges weren’t enough you can step your ollie game up with these waist high ledges. You can also skate the insides of them. I told you son, “The Holy Grail”.

Broken / Lens
If you’re bored of skating the planter ledges then you can just hop, skip away and skate these ledges that have a descending slope to the sides with a 3 foot drop. You can hit them from both sides; Regular & Goofy Footed.

Riley Muraoka – Switch Tailslide to 270 Out

Mission Accomplished

Justin, “The Forbidden 14“
After successfully catching a couple of clips (Riley), on our way out of the school we found these things. WTF. Back to Back, L-Shaped, metal benches so you can do your hop over on and hop over off tricks. Endless Possibilities. Did I also mention that on the other side of the school they have a huge flatground area with Betty Plasencia typed ledges that we didn’t even get to skate?
