Nagatoshi Produce Ledge – Los Angeles, CA
September 26, 2009 | Filed Under Skateboarding, SpotCheck | 5 CommentsThis ledge is probably most recognizable for P-Rod’s latest commercial “Today Was A Good Day” with Ice Cube where he does a Frontside Nosegrind with the City of LA in the foreground. Bobby Worrest also dropped an ill Switch Backside Nosegrind to Bigspin out on his part in Transworld’s “Right Foot Forward”. The ground approach to this curb is extremely rough and is awkward to hit. Someone bondo’ed the entry and exit of the ledge, but as you’re about to ollie; the ground dips down slightly. You’ll know what I’m talking about when you get here. The ledge is located towards the back of the building; away from the street and closer to the train tracks and LA River.

City Of Angels
Right as our boy Steve landed his Backside Nosegrind and tried to get it on film, this guy decided to stop by. All he said was, “You’re not suppose to skate here, but I’m leaving now and won’t come back.” What the fuck does that mean? Hahaha. We were over it by then.
