This past weekend the homeys rented out a 12 passenger van for the “COPE2 x Bubbles Magazine” event that went down at the AirGrafx Shop located out in Long Beach, CA. My original intent was to stay home and play some “Call of Duty:MW2” since the weather was super-shitty that day, but I somehow convinced myself that it’s been a looooong time since a large number of us have had a chance to get together to hang out and just straight up fuck around; so I decided to go along for the ride. Fueled up on Gatorade, Water, Beer, Gummy Bears, Weed, Porn and an assortment of music from various iPods, we were ready to head out to the LBC to see what this event had in store for us.

Right as we arrived to the event we heard that COPE2 wasn’t even there due to unexplainable reasons, so shit was already beginning to turn sour a little bit, however, there were still a large number of people in attendance to show their support regardless of the weather or the no-show. I guess that it could have probably been the girls from Bubbles Magazine that had all kinds of guys flocking in and out of the door; left and right. I mean, live painting by graf artists on hot girls? Hmmm, sounds like a legit combination. Can’t hate on that as extremely as corny that may sound.

Halfway through the show I just about had more than enough “Hip-Hop” music ringing in my ears than I can handle for next 20 years. Oh yeah, did I mention that I also had a nice “burnt taco taste” in my mouth for $1.25 earlier? I think the highlight of the show/event went towards the MC’s that were battling at the end of the night: 2 Mexicans vs 6 Blacks. Let’s just say the 2 beat the 6 hands down with some of the funniest rhymes I’ve heard in a minute. Overall a good night hanging out with the crew.
