Freedom Tunnels – New York, NY

So there is an urban legend mentioning a place in New York called the “Freedom Tunnels” where there are abandoned (and live) train tunnels stretching for miles with unlimited space to spraypaint.  It was named after some guy Chris “Freedom” Pape because of his notable artwork and has become more known through the movie Dark Days.  Rumor also has it that (as of today) it is a huge bust and considered a deathtrap if you get spotted by police.  So without hesitation we decided to go find out for ourselves and paid a visit…like idiots.  We were in and out in a jiffy and by the end of our rendezvous we found ourselves with nearly frost bitten hands due to the 28 degree weather and windchill combined while trying to paint without gloves.  Regardless of the factors involved we were still able to drop this undesirable piece below.  Photos compliments of DISCO BRYSO (@discobryso).  Stay Grindin…
