The Skate All Cities camp is proud to announce our latest board collaboration with none other than toy & graphic designer/skateboarder David Flores. This board collaboration has been long overdue for quite some time now. I remember hitting David up around October 09 to get some shit crackin’ for this. Four months later after going through a different board manufacturer and a number of complications we finally have the finished product…voi”dafuck”la. Our boards have been newly reconstructed with a thicker concave and harder wood for thicker pop. So if you liked our past boards then you’re going to like the feel on these ones. We are no longer making the 7.625 x 31.25’s anymore since the majority of riders are skating larger boards. They are currently available in 4 different colorways and 3 different sizes through our Online Shop.

Skate All Cities x David Flores x SIMPSONS

Skate All Cities x David Flores x SIMPSONS (Baby Blue) – 7.75 x 31.375

Skate All Cities x David Flores x SIMPSONS (Purple) – 8 x 32

Skate All Cities x David Flores x SIMPSONS (Orange) – 8.25 x 32.25
For anyone who’s curious, here’s a more in-depth description of what the graphic represents and why we chose to go this route. Ever since I’ve seen the David Flores x SIMPSONS x VANS drop in 2007′ish, I was thinking to myself, “That shit would look tight on a board!” Since David hit us up years ago (before we even had any kind of inventory and/or products made), I figured that it was only natural to put 1 and 1 together to create this collaboration board. Bart Simpson is pretty much the epitomy of what Skate All Cities is all about, except we are the real life versions. A youthful troublemaker that skateboards and vandalizes the city. Need I say more? SIMPSONS fanatics are going to shit all over this one.

Lamont
Alot of you already know that the board has a SIMPSONIZED version of David Flores flailing on his board while trying to go up a mini ramp (Just like in real life! Haha, jk.) on a freshly painted SAC tag from Bart, but did you know that the dog on there is also a SIMPSONIZED version of his real life dog, Lamont?

“DOH’P!”
The multiple colorway below was suppose to be given out to only friends and family for our release party that never came through. So instead of having these sit in the warehouse aka garage, we decided to sell them online. There’s only 50 of these made and are available only in 8 x 32, so don’t bother asking for other sizes. We now accept food stamps, credit cards, cash, crack, herb and sexual favors from your mom. Thank you for your time and “Stay Grindin”

Looks like we got our sample cap alot sooner than we thought. Introducing our 2nd fitted baseball cap with the heads over at SAIKO entitled, “The Monogram”. It is based off of a logo that you might have caught glimpses of through the background page of our Twitter account. We are going to have various colorways (HINT: Dodger & Giants) of the embroidery for this design, but for our first run we’re going to have it with a Tiffany Blue colorway on a Black fitted cap.

The back print to “The Monogram” fitted cap has our motto, “Stay Grindin”. If you’ve purchased any of our t-shirts from the past then you’ve already seen the inside label/tag on them that has this motto printed. “Stay Grindin” basically has multiple meanings that not only skateboarders can relate to, but people who are always on the hustle and grind through everyday life that need to find that balance, whether it’s grinding a rail or living life.
These are currently under production and should be available in about a month or two through our Online Shop. Keep it movin and look out for our David Flores x Skate All Cities x Young & Reckless (Clothing line from Drama of the Fantasy Factory) board/t-shirt release party in the middle of March. Doing big thangs this year. Stay Grindin…

Let me introduce to you David Flores. Alot of you are probably familiar with him through his “stained-glass look” designs from toys to skateboards to everything in between (i.e. sunglasses, shoe, snowboards, etc.). This past week the Skate All Cities Krew had the pleasure to visit his art studio/loft to go over a couple of details for our collaboration board release party. The topic of discussion was, “Where are we going to have it?” We’re not going to spoil the surprise, but if everything falls into place this is going to be one of Skate All Cities hugest events for 2010, so cross your fingers and stay tuned as we head into 2010 with new beginnings.

“DF”
I’m not sure if you know the history behind David, but aside from producing vinyl toys he’s been producing skateboard graphics since day one. Here are just a few of his designs that some of you might be familiar with.

I’m sure that all of you know the Shorty’s Muska board over towards the left. Simple design with a signature trademark to include in skateboarding history. Even the non-skaters that read this blog have probably seen it before.

You can add P-Rod to his list of skateboard pros that he has done boards for.

Paul Rodriguez – Plan B

I bet that you didn’t know that those Spitfire Wheels that you were/are riding were designed by this guy. Here’s just a small sample from his backpack just to flex the skills.

Kid Robot
Did I mention that he also did Ryan Gallant’s DC shoe. No Big Deal.

Watch collaborations anyone?

We definitely appreciate all of the support that everyone has been giving us throughout the past year and a half; ever since we took our crew into new heights by turning it into a brand. Without you there wouldn’t be us, so a big “Thank You” on this Thanksgiving Day.
We get alot of emails/questions about what’s going on with some of our newer products? Are we going to be releasing some new t-shirts, boards, caps, etc.? The answer is, “Yes we are still releasing some new t-shirts“, and “Yes, the David Flore x SAC board collabo will drop by early 2010″ and “Yes, we just we just restocked on our Skulls And Crossboards Fitted Caps”.
Stay tuned for more in the near future as there is another fitted baseball cap in the works. You can grab the newly restocked fitteds for $30 SHIPPED through our Online Shop. Thanks.
