The Paint Selection

On the way home we decided to get something to eat down the block and saw this wall that some of the homeys from The Seventh Letter rocked. Some of the writer’s mentioned below (ROID & JIROE) are from Europe and also have their own graffiti blog (Maintained by the boss AROE) called Heavy Artillery. Lots of good European graffiti on there. ROID is becoming one of my favorite European writers right now.

Looks like we’ve been getting alot of graffiti mags sent to us lately. First it was CLOUT mag and now another one called Spreading The Disease. You might have remembered the last blog entry we did on this mag a couple of months ago. This mag is a quarterly street culture publication based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. Their latest issue (#2) has interviews w/ the ETC crew as well as KATCH from Hawaii. This mag is especially sick cause yours truly appears in it so go buy it! Hahah, juuuusttt kidding.

This past week we were lucky enough to receive a couple of shirts from the heads over at The Loss Prevention. For anyone who’s never heard of them before it’s a company by world famous graffiti writer SEVER MSK. The site is basically an online portfolio of SEVER’s multiple talents. He has a blog, portfolio of all the graffiti dating back from 1997 to the present, as well as an online shop where you can purchase some of his t-shirts. The “TEXAS TEA” is probably one of my favorite tees of all time. (Besides any SAC tees of course.) It has a character of the Robitussin DM bottle rocking some Nike Air Max’s. Haha, so hard! For more updates and information on what SEVER’s been up to visit his site.

We were approached by MonsterGarage.com recently to film some action shots of us skateboarding through mechanical machinery for an online segment of their show under the “Extreme Actions” category. So we sent out one of our soldiers (Gabriel) to go handle the job. You can visit their website to view the slow-mo HD video and rate it. Just some fuck around shit but it’s exposure to the masses nevertheless. Thanks to Breck for setting this all up.

Aside from being shocked by the 5.8 Magnitude earthquake yesterday, to our surprise, we received a lovely package from the heads over at CLOUT. It is of their latest issue (#10) with interviews from ALOY MSK, MUCH HM as well as upcoming rap artists Clyde Carson and Traxamillion. CLOUT has been in the graffiti magazine game for quite some time now. I remember first seeing this magazine back around 2006(?) and had always thought that it was well designed with a grimey, street feel to the publication. It also doesn’t hurt to have exclusive photos of graffiti that you don’t usually see on the net either. Graffiti mags come and go but these guys will definitely be around to pump out more issues for you in the near future. Visit their online shop if you feel like purchasing some graf supplies and/or products. Better yet, go buy their mag and check everything out yourself.

So it looks like we found some t-shirts left over from our first run that everyone has been asking for. It’s of the basic collegiate font spellout. These are the original T’s w/ the AAA tags on them and not silkscreened on the inside with the tag removed like the rest of our newer ones. As part of giving back to our real followers that read our blog you can get these for $12 shipped til the end of the month (Expiration Date: 07/31/08 12:00am). These will be available only in RED & sizes Large & X-Large. I think we got only about 15-20 left so these will go fast!
