Bombing out in Rome, Italy is just fucken ridiculous. There’s no possible way that you can get up and crush this city without (at least) being here for a couple of months, smashing almost every day. And that’s if you can find yourself some free space to paint cause basically everything’s been crushed. It reminds me of the NYC days of the 80’s where everything was killed within a one block radius with a shitload of tags, except shit runs here for years. (Not that I’ve been in NYC around that time or anything but you get the point.) What makes it interesting is that people don’t buff the shit over here with regular paint. They need to sandblast it because of the marble and architecture. That’s why it’s hard to keep the city clean. Here are some pics of some throwups that we did around town as well as some other artists just to get you an idea of what goes down out here.

RX - Rome, Italy
(The shutters were so small in Europe that I had to do some 2 letter throwups. RX is short for RIX aka RICKS. Note the little cap on the R.)

(We painted one of the many busy bridges around town where people travel back and forth between blocks.)

After the late night street bombing, (pics coming soon) we had a chance to go lurking around town. Did some shopping and took some photos of the beautiful architecture and graffiti that was around.

After getting situated from the flight over here to Paris, we stopped by the Eiffel Tower later that evening for a little sightseeing. For any of you that have never been there just imagine a huge ass skyscraper that’s lit up at night. And on every hour the whole thing lights up with sparkly glitter for 2 minutes. It’s an amazing site. And if you’re bored of seeing Paris from high up above they have a park down below with hot drunken French chicks all having picnics with wine, crackers and cheese. Go get your mack on…

Skate All Cities connected game with LRG, JSLV, and 10 West Bikerz out in Costa Mesa to go canyon dipping. All I can say is, “What a ride!” Our boy Ronnie hit a Miata and broke his right peg off while dipping in and out of traffic and yours truly was “tokyo drifting” down the canyon and survived a near head on collision with on-coming traffic. Gotta love it when cars just pull a dead stop on you while you’re going about 30-40mph downhill. Don’t you? All I gotta say is, “Today was a good day…”

After a savage night partying with some of the AL’s, DREOS, at my homegirl Lorinda’s house, we decided to go to a somewhat new, makeshift, skatespot out in Temple City the next morning after some sleep at around ohhh 5:30am! First time I heard about it or even saw this spot was about a month or so when I took a wrong turn somewhere in the middle of Rosemead trying to find gas. Looked over to my right and saw maadd skaters tearing it up on some skater-made ledges. I just drove by and was like, “Remember the sign, Temple City.” That was the last I’ve seen of the spot until this past weekend. Gabriel mentioned a new spot to skate with some ledges out in Temple City. Booyah, I knew exactly what he was talking about. We roll up to the spot and met up with a bunch of the crew trying to film some lines. We were all able to catch a lil somethin’ somethin’. Just gotta hold out on those for our CLIP OF THE WEEK’s. Stay tuned and you’ll see some footy leakin on the net. During the meantime enjoy the flicks.

My boy Garret was kind enough to drop a few comments about myself and the crew over at his blog: http://curtisway.blogspot.com. Garret is responsible for some of the photography that you see in our MySpace Profile as well as in our blog. We’re in the process of connecting together to get an interview going hopefully in the near future. Make sure to check out his photography work. Some siiick shit. He did some stuff for Adidas about a month ago if I recall correctly. Thanks for the kind words Garret. Let’s do this…

After a good 2 month hiatus due to a dislocated shoulder, I decided to get back on the stuntwood and get my skate on. I kinda forgot how addicted I was to skateboarding, but boy was I fucken hating the first 2 hours trying to gain my balance back at the park. Couldn’t do manuals or anything. Fucken horrible. After the warm-up session, we decided to hit up Oxnard to go skate some ditch. Shit was sooo godamn fun. Didn’t get too much footage this time around, but you win some and you lose some.
