What is SKATE ALL CITIES?
Skate All Cities is a skateboarding & graffiti crew from Los Angeles, California. “SAC” was originally created back in 1993 by Levi Medina and Jerry Morales who began coming up with random names for a skateboarding crew. RICKS (who was into graffiti at the time) came up with the acronym “Skate All Cities” and the rest is history. With the joint efforts of the crew, Skate All Cities is evolving into a brand with members up and down the California coast as well as Portland, Japan and most recently, NYC.
Are you a company?
Yes we are. Just recently within the last year or so, we expanded our crew into the business aspect of it and are producing boards, t-shirts, caps, accessories and more.
What does skateboarding and/or graffiti have anything to do with each other?
It has EVERYTHING to do with each other. They are both “do-it-yourself” hobbies with free forms of self-expression and belong in the streets! One compliments the other. We are one of the very few crews that are active in BOTH cultures. Alot of your favorite pro skaters have either tried writing before and quit or vice versa. (Not droppin any names but you would be surprised.)
I don’t get it? So you guys are a business but you skateboard and do graffiti as well?
You just answered your own question.
Are you guys sponsoring?
No, unfortunately we’re not sponsoring anybody at the moment, but maybe in the near future when we plan to expand. We’re keeping it strictly friends, family and crew at the moment.
How can I get your boards & shirts?
We currently have our own Online Shop using Paypal. If you don’t see your local shop carrying our line of products and would like to then please feel free to email us at: “Info@SkateAllCities.com” to request the latest catalog.
How does RICKS get to travel around the world?
Hustle Hard son…
Where do you get all of your paint?
See answer above.
Can I get some FREE STUFF?
Of course you can. Just hit us up with some FREE MONEY and you are good to go!
Are your boards any good?
We skate and test them out ourselves so they need to be. Just recently we have acquired a new board manufacturer based out of the San Diego area called “ASF Distribution” where our wood is currently made in Mexico.
Even though you guys aren’t sponsoring right now, what does it take to get into your crew?
You basically need to have some talent with skateboarding and/or graffiti so that you can fit into our crews’ motives. Most importantly you need to have a good attitude and can somehow contribute to the crew.
How do I get down on your CLIP OF THE WEEK’s or FLICK OF THE DAY’s that you post on MySpace?
Our CLIP OF THE WEEK’s are for our crew member’s only, however, our FLICK OF THE DAY’s are graffiti images that we repost from our WEB FORUM. So the more pictures that you post in our forum the more likely you are going to show up in our FLICK OF THE DAY bulletins. Get it? Got it? Good…
When can we go skating together?
As much as we would like to call up everyone to go skate we’re just busy traveling and doing our own thing. If you catch us around at a skatespot and recognize us feel free to hit us up and we’ll most definitely say what up and have a dope skate session.
When is your video coming out?
We don’t have a set date for it be released, but we are working on it and you’ll all know when it’s finally done. TRUST.
I sent you a Myspace message last week my dude and you still haven’t responded back to me yet? What’s up with that?
Okay, we get about 50-100 messages on our Myspace profile from everyone each and every day. It takes a while for me (1 dude) to reply back to everyone and sometimes the messages get lost if I don’t get back to you in a timely fashion; so our apologies. Sometimes you need to hit us up 2-3 times in order to get a response and to the ones that send us messages that ask us, “What’s up?” You get ignored most of the time unless you’re a hot female. Thanks.
